Malé pre použitie jednoduché zariadenie pre profesionálnych video producentov, ktorí potrebujú súčasne vysielať živý stream a nahrávať v master kvalite pre postprodukciu. Zdroj signálu môže byť z ľubovoľného HDMI zdroja ako kamera alebo switcher, Matrox Monarch HD generuje H.264 stream kompatibilný s RTPS alebo RTMP protokolom. Súčasne Matroch Monarch nahráva vysokokvalitné MP4 súbory na SD kartu, USB zariadenie alebo na sieťový disk. Je diaľkovo ovládateľný počítačom alebo mobilným zariadením cez webové rozhranie. Kvalite vysielania streamu a nahrávania môže byť rozdielna tj. nahrávate v 30Mbps a vysielate 20Mbps. Nahrávanie je vo vysokej kvalite H.264 videa ako MP4 súbor.

Multiple Monarch devices can be synchronized in a Master/Slave topology to allow for synchronized record and streaming operations across multiple units via a single interface. If file is to be uploaded for VOD purposes, a YouTube preset may be selected. If content is to be edited for high quality production, a master quality preset may be preferable.
Streaming Settings Configuration of Streaming parameters performed on this page. The RTMP or RTSP credentials as well as encoding parameters are entered. While a preset cannot include the streaming credentials, encoder presets have been included to quickly select an ideal encoders settings based on desired delivery resolution or bitrate. The Monarch HD will have been tested with a number of CDN providers as well as feeding Wowza Media servers and Adobe Media Server platforms.
